Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University 2025-2026 Academic Year Gown Wearing and Award Ceremony was held

The Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University 2025-2026 Academic Year Gown Ceremony and Award Ceremony was held on February 10, 2026, with the strong participation of the university's academic community. At the ceremony, which recognized academic advancements and dedicated work, our faculty members from the Turkish Music State Conservatory achieved significant successes, bringing pride to our institution.

During the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Muhittin ÖZDEMİR and Associate Professor M. Semih KARLIDAĞ from our Conservatory's academic staff received their associate professorships, crowning their academic advancements. The associate professorship title, a demonstration of academic merit and scientific productivity, was recorded as an important mark of our faculty members' competence and work in their fields.

Furthermore, our Conservatory Director, Associate Professor Dr. Arda GÖKSU, was awarded the "20th Year in Service Award" for his 20th year of dedicated service to the university. Associate Professor Dr. Arda GÖKSU, who has contributed significantly to the institution's culture through his long-standing academic and administrative contributions, received the 20th Anniversary Service Award at the ceremony, recognizing his dedication and experience.

At the same ceremony, our Conservatory Deputy Director, Associate Professor Dr. Haluk BÜKÜLMEZ, achieved a significant success by being awarded the "Young Scientist/Artist/Sportsman Award," a meaningful recognition that encourages the productivity and high-quality work of young academics in line with their scientific and artistic endeavors.
